Our luscious 100% pure clove leaf oil comes from the unopened pink flower buds of the tropical evergreen tree (indigenous to Indonesia and Madagascar). In late summer, they are picked by hand and again in winter, the buds are dried until they turn brown. The buds are then left whole and are steam-distilled to create this 100% pure and organic clove leaf oil.

Pure Clove leaf oil is well known for its anti-bacterial properties, making it a great 100% natural home remedy for acne. We all know that bacteria causes’ acne, so to put it more simply, Clove leaf oil acts like a type of antibacterial that cleanses the skin, while also leaving it smooth and hydrated.

These amazing properties make clove leaf oil an excellent remedy for various types of skin problems, for example: athlete’s foot, ringworm, wounds or cuts, prickly heat, bruises, scabies, insect stings, stretch marks, puffy skin and wrinkles.

Clove leaf Oil in Cosmetics

Also, if you enjoy making your own all-natural beauty products, such as conditioner, lotions, facial creams or more, it is highly recommended to use 100% natural essential oils, as opposed to pre-fabricated essences. Natural oils contain so many healing and relaxing properties; they will always provide you with an extra boost of vitamins and minerals, as well as a wonderful smell.

Ways to Apply clove leaf Oil

There are many ways to apply clove leaf oil: directly on to the skin using a cotton pad or your fingers (always using the essential oil in diluted form for topical application only), putting 3-5 drops into your bath for relaxing and mood-enhancing effects, mixing it into other natural skin-care products (such as lotions or butters), using your aromatherapy diffuser to disperse it throughout your home to experience a wonderful fresh smell, or even applying it to your clothing as a naturally invigorating alternative to perfume.
